Sulfur- and selenium-based linkers in polymer-supported organic synthesis
نویسندگان
چکیده
The use of sulfurand selenium-based linkers in polymer-supported organic synthesis (PSOS) is reviewed. The literature describing the application of sulfur-based linkers in the PSOS of small molecules and combinatorial library preparation from 2000 to the present is summarized. The development and use of selenium-based linkers in PSOS, highlighting the work of the Nicolaou and Huang groups, is also presented.

Polymer/HIO4 : An efficient catalyst for solvent-free synthesis of 2-naphthol azo dyes
A convenient, one-pot method for the synthesis of diazonium salt has been developed by the sequential diazotization of aromatic amines with NaNO2, polymer- supported periodic acid (PPIA) and 2-naphthole under solvent-free conditions at room temperature. By using this method, several types of aromatic amine, containing electron-withdrawing and electron-donating groups, were rapidly converted to ...

متن کاملSelenol protecting groups in organic chemistry: special emphasis on selenocysteine Se-protection in solid phase peptide synthesis.
The appearance of selenium in organic synthesis is relatively rare, and thus examples in the literature pertaining to the masking of its considerable reactivity are similarly uncommon. Greene's Protecting Groups in Organic Synthesis, the standard reference for the state of the art in this arena, offers no entries for selenium protective methodology, in stark comparison to its mention of the gre...
متن کاملSynthesis of thienoselenadiazole-containing conjugated copolymers and their application in polymer solar cells
INTRODUCTION In recent years, polymer solar cells (PSCs) have attracted great attention due to the energy crisis all over the world. Compared with inorganic solar cells, PSCs have many advantages, such as light weight, solution processability, mechanical flexibility and low cost.1 The stateof-the-art of PSCs are based on a fullerene-derivative acceptor, such as [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid met...
متن کاملPolystyrene Supported [N-(Alanine) Sulfonamide]/Palladium Chloride: Synthesis, Characterization, for Heck Coupling Reactions
Abstract As a monomer, the [N-(alanine)] para-styrene sulfonamide (ASS) was prepared, from the reaction of para-styrene sulfonyl chloride and (S)-(+)-alanine in the presence of KOH 1M as a base, and CH3Cl was used as solvent. The monomer confirmed using FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. Polystyrene [N-(alanine) sulfonamide] (PASS) was also prepared from the polymerization of [N-(alanine)] pa...
